LA RISE & RENEW WILDFIRE RECOVERY GRANT PROGRAM

Ready to rebuild, recover, and grow

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

LISC LA and BMO will co-launch the LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Recovery Grant Program to provide rapid, unrestricted capital and targeted technical-assistance education via webinars and one-on-one support. The program will award micro-grants of $5,000 each to small businesses with annual revenues under $2 million in Pacific Palisades and Altadena that were directly impacted by the January 2025 wildfires.

•            Restore operations by funding equipment replacement, minor repairs, and inventory restocks.

•            Stabilize cash flow through working-capital support for payroll, rent, and utilities.

•            Strengthen capacity via quarterly webinars on cash-flow management, AI and digital marketing, and insurance navigation.

BMO and LISC LA will partner to create an impactful grant program aimed at supporting the growth and sustainability of small businesses focusing exclusively on businesses affected by the January 2025 wildfires. This initiative, "LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Recovery Grant Program," reflects a shared commitment to foster meaningful financial progress in our communities through facilitating targeted financial support, providing operational assistance, and leveraging significant networking opportunities.
