LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Grant Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Grant, applicants must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

1. Location (Required)
Your business must have a physical street address located within a FEMA-declared disaster area in Los Angeles County connected to the January 2025 wildfires.
PO boxes are not eligible.

2. For-Profit Small Business
The applicant must operate as a for-profit small business.

3. Revenue Limit
The business must have annual gross revenue under $2,000,000.

4. Verified Wildfire Impact
Applicants must show documented physical damage or measurable revenue loss directly related to the January 2025 wildfires.

5. Intent to Remain or Reopen
The business must currently be operating or demonstrate intent to reopen and continue operating in the same community.

6. Payment Capability
The business must be able to accept ACH payment and provide a voided check or bank letter for payment processing.

Important Note:
Businesses that have previously received wildfire relief grant funding from LISC LA are not eligible to apply.

Required Application Documents:

Applicants must submit the following materials with their application:

  • Completed application form with signed attestation confirming date of birth and accuracy of information

  • Proof of physical business address within a FEMA-declared LA wildfire zone
    (Examples: lease agreement, business license, or utility bill)

  • Proof of wildfire impact
    (Examples: dated photos, repair estimates, invoices, insurance claim number, or city/fire report)

  • Proof of business existence
    (Examples: business license, state registration, or recent tax filing)

  • Voided check or bank letter for ACH disbursement

  • Completed W-9 form
